For employees
Your profile, time off, clocking in, and notifications.
Most of what you need is in two places: your own profile, and Time off. Everything else is there when you need it.
Your profile
- 1Open the avatar menu in the top right and choose My profile.
- 2You can edit your contact details, your address and your emergency contacts yourself.
- 3Your job title, department, manager and employment type are managed by HR. That is not the interface being cautious — the database refuses those changes from anyone but HR, so nobody can quietly promote themselves.
Requesting time off
- 1Time off → Request time off.
- 2Pick the type, then the first and last day. The dialog counts the working days for you, skipping weekends and your company's holidays, and shows what your balance will be afterwards.
- 3Add a reason if it helps whoever approves it. Send request.
- 4You can cancel a request yourself while it is still pending. Once it has been approved, ask HR — cancelling then has to give the days back to your balance, which is a change to the record rather than a deletion.
The day count in the dialog is advisory. The server recalculates it before anything reaches your balance, so a request can never claim fewer days than it takes.
Clocking in
- 1If your company uses attendance, the clock-in button is in the topbar on every screen.
- 2Clock in when you start. The button becomes a running timer.
- 3Clock out at the end of the day; you can leave a note about anything worth remembering.
- 4At the end of the week, submit your timesheet from Attendance. Your manager approves it or returns it with a reason.
Does this not match what you see on screen? That's a bug in the guide — tell us and we'll fix it.
