What the shared demo workspace is, and what is switched off in it.
The demo is one real workspace with a fictional company in it, shared by everyone who opens it. Three seats — HR, manager, employee — each one click, no sign-up, no password to copy.
What is switched off, and why
- Inviting members and resending invitations. An invitation mails an address a visitor types, and a public demo that will do that on request is an open relay with a nice interface.
- Changing the demo accounts' details. They are shared, so one visitor renaming an account changes it for everyone who follows.
- Email of any kind. In-app notifications still fire — the bell is part of the product being shown — but nothing reaches a real inbox.
Everything else is the real product doing real work. Approve some leave, run payroll prep, move a candidate through the pipeline. It resets every night, so you cannot break it in a way that lasts — and neither can anyone else.
